After leaving the Navajo National Monument, I was pelted with rain for the rest of Arizona. I’m somewhat sure that state had it out for me on this trip. Before crossing in to Colorado, I decided to stop at the Four Corners Monument.
On the one hand, Four Corners is a total ripoff. You pay $3 per person to enter and then wait in a long line to stand on a plaque on the ground. On the other hand, how often can you say you’ve stood in four places at once?! Am I glad I went? Yes. Will I go again? No.
