Long Hunter State Park – Couchville Lake Loop Part II

Back last fall when I was still computer-less, I went back to Couchville Lake Loop, which I’ve written about before, to try and find signs of leaves changing.  2014 saw an unusually long summer in Tennessee, so by the end of September all the trees at home were still green and I was longing for the reds, oranges, and yellows that make up my favorite time of year.

In addition to the glimpses of fall, I got some up close and personal wildlife pics after I spotted some deer grazing near the path.  Normally deer are relatively skittish, but these were used to people and I stayed very still and quiet to keep from scaring them away.
